Hello, My name is Winopa. I signed up to sit for the CAP exam for a number of reasons. However, the main reason is because it is like any other field you become certified in, e.g. nursing, becoming a RN, you are recognized as an authority in that field. I have been in the field for about 40 years. I have been an assistant to directors, executive directors, vice presidents, presidents, deputy superintendents, etc. When I received my BS in psychology, I felt that it was time to do so. Now is the time to have CAP behind my name. I believe that it will open doors and provide more opportunities. I am in an awesome online study group with over 100 people seeking to achieve the same goal. I plan to take everything I learn, study hard, use the tools I am given, apply the knowledge and pray I pass the first time. I encourage others to consider sitting for the exam. As my coach said, by getting certified it will elevate our profession. I also believe that it will cause others to stand up and notice that we are more than typists and file clerks. We are truly the planners, organizers, power hitters, people behind the scene who are getting things done... Join me on this journey to becoming a Certified Administrative Professional!
