To CAP or not to CAP?
Hello all! I've been an Admin now for 28+ years at various levels in a few companies. I also love mentoring others wanting to pursue a career in our field and continue to do so today. Current Time: 2 years ago I started feeling stagnate in my career. I still loved my company, my job, and the people I work with. I just lacked being stimulated by not learning new skills. So I kept searching by sharing my desire with peers/mentors. This is when my hunt to take charge of my future began. I soon came upon Office Dynamics International and absolutely love Joan Burge! My leader at that time even bought me a bundle of Joan's books as my leader fully supported my eagerness to learn and further myself in my career. Next, I happened upon Marie Herman and her webinar about the different certifications available for Admins as well as study groups she offers. That was what I was looking for...finally I found it! And here I am today with time to focus on me as I'm currently furloughed. So I signed up in Marie's Study Group and I'm going to make the best use of my time by investing in myself and earn my CAP! I 100% believe in staying current and proficient in skills of today and tomorrow. So CAP here I come! Yes, I want and will get those credentials to add to my name!!
