Fall 2020 CAP Exam: The 20 Year Journey (Plus or Minus)
After considering certification for years, I'm finally doing it! I had to decide which career path I wanted to follow first, between HR, Admin, and media. I landed an EA position last year and know this is "home" for me. I had placed my career on hold to raise my sons, but the plan was always to return to career mode. The young men are men and my daughter-from-another-mother is now in college, so I can focus on me. (I have to continue reminding myself of that!) I made the decision to register for the Fall CAP during my time working from home due to COVID-19 when work was slow, to say the least. Little did I know I'd be called back in to the office and things are anything but slow! No matter, I've paid my fees and started Marie Herman's exam prep class. I'm in it to win it! Due to a crazy busy schedule last weekend and week, this is my first opportunity to dig in (I logged 5-6 hours today alone). I'm loving the material and believe with all my heart that I'll successfully pass the exam and will soon be able to proudly state "I'm a CERTIFIED Administrative Professional!" 😀 Thank You, Marie for leading the charge with such encouragement and knowledge!!!

Good luck in pursuing the certification designation and doing it for you. You have had challenges along the way--raising a family, working from home during COVID-19.

I DID IT!!! I've realized my goal of earning the CAP designation! What a journey it was. I don't believe I would have succeeded were it not for Marie Herman's CAP prep course. It was INTENSE, but well worth the sacrifice.

For anyone seeking to sit for the CAP, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Marie's class (https://www.mrhenterprises.com/). In addition, don't just take the class, but do as Marie suggests. It's A LOT OF WORK, but trust me, it will pay off!
