I took the CAP 2021 spring exam, As I anxiously await my exam results, I wanted to share with you my experience studying for the test. One of the best things I did for myself was signing up for Marie Herman's study group. Being part of a group that were on the same journey with me felt encouraging. Marie provides a wealth of information through her teaching and reading materials. Regardless of if I pass this exam or not, I am a better administrative professional just from taking her class. It is well worth the price, she gives so much of her time and shares so much of her invaluable knowledge. Since learning is a journey, I am now in her business writing class, and I am loving it. Thank you Marie!

Today is the day that I will receive my results from the 2021 Spring CAP Exam. I began this journey while working from home at the start of Covid-19. I explored the IAAP website and read about the certification process. I gave myself a challenge, as well as, sharing the information with many of the Admin Professionals in my organization. There were four of us that signed up for Marie Herman's study group. It was overwhelming but so worth the cost for the amount of knowledge and materials she provides to you. Marie is definitely devoted to her students and wants the VERY BEST for us in our profession. I want to "thank, Marie" for her dedication and leadership she has shown to us all. I await patiently today (as I have the for the past 40 days) for my results and either way, I am proud for giving myself the challenge and followed through to the end. It's been years since I took any type of exam, so coming this far is an accomplishment for me, and finding out I passed will be overwhelming to me. GOOD LUCK to each of us 2021 CAP Exam Takers!

Patience is a wonderful thing and results are so much faster these days. Back in my day it was about three months but the exam was different.
