I'm part of Marie's CAP Study Group. I've been an Administrative Professional for several years and feel it is time to become certified. This is a scary, intimidating experience and definitely gets me out of my comfort zone. This too is a goal, get out of my comfort zone and learn new things. I hope to bring these learnings back to my job and maybe even my everyday life where possible. I plan to read, take a break, read some more, apply learnings to my job where possible, read some more ... study .. read .. you get it, I'm sure! It has been many years since I was a college student, so I'm anticipating I will be learning a lot, and expect there to be ups and downs along the way, c'est la vie! I look forward to being a part of this community and am hopeful that I can lean on the community and Marie's study group in order to get closer to obtaining the CAP designation.

Congratulations on taking this next step in your personal and professional development. Stretching outside of our comfort zone is the only way we learn and improve ourselves.
