ON MY WAY..... SPRING 2022 CAP EXAM!!! I finally decided after many years of not believing in myself, I signed up to take the CAP exam this past fall. I failed at trying to study on my own and thought I could do it. I failed the exam...but I am more determined to be a value to the company I work for and the doctors I serve here at Children's National Medical Center. I am taking this next step serious by signing up with Marie Herman to help me fulfill this accomplishment and goal I have set for myself. For those who are Professional Administrative Assistants or Executives you should value your role and become a Certified Administrative Professional... the doors are open for you... the sky's the limit.... nothing is holding me back!!!!

Love your determination. Just to clarify, you did not "fail" the exam, you just didn't complete it. Back in the day, when I sat for the exam, it was very different and the average number of times to complete all six parts was three tries. I was average. All I can do is to ensure you that you learn by taking the exam, whether or not you reach the magic number to earn certification. You will enjoy Marie's classes and you will also be surprised as how much you already know. Sometimes it's just a matter of how you approach the exam. I'm a terrible test taker. Look forward to seeing CAP behind your name.

As you know by now, I believe this exam is worthy. But ultimately, it alone does not determine your value as an administrative professional. It is simply one measurement of one day. The fact that you are determined to pass that exam and have signed up for a second try speaks volumes about your professionalism and values.
