My Why
Hello everyone! I have been an Executive Assistant for the past 6 years for a rural Critical Access Hospital in Nebraska, but have always been in "assisting" roles just without the title. I am excited to pursue this journey because there is always something new to learn and how better to learn from 90+ administrative professionals in Marie's study group and within this IAAP community! I am feeling a bit anxious and nervous about the test... is this like the ACT?!? I have been out of school for 21 years so I need to refresh my studying skills. I am blessed to have a CEO who I directly report to, be super supportive of this journey of the CAP exam. After being certified, I plan to pursue the PM and TA designations. Looking forward to networking and learning!
