Personally, I think you learn each time you take the exam. Your more aware of the areas you consider weak and that's what you concentrate one. It was a very different exam back in the 1980s when I enjoyed the experience. The exam was offered once a year, six parts, two days. The average time to pass all six parts at that time was three sittings. It was still three sittings when the exam changed to three parts. I once worked with candidates under the current electronic format but have never seen the actual exam so cannot comment other than to say you learned something and will be better prepared next time.
