Hi Lisa - glad to hear you will be able to attend The Summit in DC! This will be my 15th conference and I have enjoyed them all.
Wear comfortable shoes - Gaylord properties are large so you will be walking between your sleeping room and the various meeting rooms, restaurants, and around the National Harbor. This isn't the time for high heels!

Hope to meet you this summer!

Does anyone know if there is shuttle information to/from the Baltimore airport? In the past on some occasions IAAP provided shuttle information with a discounted rate however I don't see anything this time but want to ask just in case.

Hi Norma,
do you have others joining you on the monuments by moonlight tour on Friday evening? If you don't mind me asking is it expensive? I am traveling from CA alone. I might possibly meet up with others that usually attend however I am not yet sure if they are coming or not. Even though I am really tired after learning all day i do try my best to get out and sight see/tour and do things.

Leatrice,

If you book Super Shuttle, you can use the code IAAP1 to get a discount.

Hi there, last year I brought my laptop and took my notes using OneNote. I was then able to send my notes to admin team in the office while I was still at the conference. When I returned to the office my notes were organized, each session had a tab and I was able to quickly put together a PowerPoint presentation to share with the team and my VP.

Hi Leatrice, One or two friends may be joining me on the Friday night Monuments by Moonlight tour, but not confirmed yet. The tour is open to the public, it's not a private/reserved tour bus, it's just that I purchased my ticket already to ensure I had a seat. The cost was right around $40. It should be a fun evening!

Accommodations Advice
First time attending and have to move hotels as Saturday is completely booked! The neighbouring hotels are three times the price, and I have to convert to CAD, which makes it even more expensive! I haven't booked anything yet for the Saturday, but I am confirmed at National Gaylord for Thursday-Friday. Any advice for this first time attendee? UPDATE: Reached out to HQ and they provided links and info for overflow hotels. I was also contacted by a fellow member to see if I found a room, with an offer to share if I hadn't. Thanks to all that assisted me!

Lunch & Dinner Events Included?
Is the networking lunch and the closing dinner included or an additional cost? As well, what is the dress code?
