Can I also suggest using Quizlet vs flash cards? It's a free phone app that has a flash card function. I've been inputting information as I study and then whenever I have a free moment, I can use the app to quiz myself.  Perfect for when I'm at lunch at work or in the car at my sons soccer practices.  It's been a great tool for me.

I went through the books and basically wrote down the things that were in bold or italics (writing things down helps me remember more than just reading.)  If it was a topic I didn't know much about, I spent a little more time on it.  Truthfully, the practice test made me feel worse about the whole situation.  After taking it, I felt like I didn't know anything, when in reality, I actually know alot!  The online study guide actually made me feel better about everything.  You can go at your own pace and skip around if you want.  I would go through the questions and if I wasn't sure of the answer, I was able to go back and look it up - helped me remember and also kept me from falling asleep while reading!  I've heard alot of good things about Marie Herman's study group..  I'm just not a study group kind of person so I did better on my own.  Figure out what works best for you.    Good luck!

Hi All, I'm so happy to say that I passed the recent CAP exam! It looked overwhelming to begin with, looking at the study guide, and going to the San Diego Boot Camp to get a kick-start on studying. At the table in San Diego was a gal, super friendly and knowledgeable, who shared with me that she had just finished a Web-X study group with Marie and it really helped her to focus in on specific areas of study that she wasn't comfortable with. She highly recommended this form of study to the entire table. Well, I was sold and signed up for Marie's class for the Fall 2019 CAP exam. This Web-X community is so supportive, open, sharing and welcoming. I was able to go back and focus on the three domains I felt shaky with and listen to those particular classes again, with presentations in front of me - so helpful.
