Why I chose to sit for the CAP Exam 3 S. Webb Sherise, congratulations on your decision to sit for the CAP exam. I empathize with your experience with an employer that perceives admins as part of the furniture rather than part of the team. I admire your decision to set a goal and take each step toward fulfillment. I have no doubt you will succeed in your CAP journey. Remember, be nice to yourself, as it's been a while since you've had to study for an exam; always remember you know more than you think you do; and whatever the outcome you are a success story. Best of luck on your journey, Pearl

CAP caught my interest 11 C. Bowe Well as the old saying goes, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. A little reading never killed anyone! ;)I love seeing that your organization is supporting your journey. That helps so much to have that additional edge. You can do this! Don't sweat the time since the last test. I promise you that MANY in the study group are in the same boat!Marie

Why I Am Pursuing CAP 2 J. Cook It is all too easy to get stuck in complacency in our jobs, especially when we aren't actively unhappy (although sometimes even when we are). Shaking things up with a job change is definitely a good way to get out of a rut. How awesome that you are pursuing the certification on top of it. It really does something (in my opinion) when we stretch ourselves mentally and get back into learning mode after a long absence. Let's get this done!!!Marie
