4th Edition Study Guide 4 N. Gorham There's a lot of information that you need to synthesize for this exam, and Marie doesn't a fantastic job of organizing it for you.  I would have been completely lost without her help!

Fall 2022 Cap Exam 23 M. Webster Myself and a coworker discovered that we can see our raw score in webassessor. How confident can we feel in those results? For example, if my raw score was 92% could I confidently feel that I passed?

Recertification 0 B. Friend Good day to you all. My name is Tracey Kirkland, Certification Specialist for IAAP. It has been brought to my attention some members are in need of Summit Recertification Forms. I am attaching forms for Virtual Summit 2021 and 2022 as well as Summit in-person 2022. I hope you find them helpful. For those of you who may be wondering about Virtual Summits 2019 or 2020, they should be added already to your portal. This was done as a courtesy during Covid to make things a little easier for our valued members. Thanks for your attention and please reach out to certification@iaap-hq.org if you need assistance with anything. Take care. Tracey

CAP Exam Waiting for Results - why does it take so long??? 3 D. Bullis As I've said many times before, today's certification candidate has is much shorter notification time. Back when I sat for the exam, the 1980s, you took the exam in May and results came out in August or sometimes September. Granted, the exam was very different at the time and one part had to be hand graded. Exams were not graded until all exams were in from all over the world. Thank you for today's computer world!

Body of Knowledge for CAP and PACE 6 T. Hanson The PACE exam is definitely not a certification (though ASAP implies that it is certified, it is not). There is obviously overlap between the two exams. You would at least want to pick up IAAP's CAP Exam Study Guide as a starter material. If you have not started preparing for the exam yet, honestly, 8 weeks is a very tight turnaround. It can be done, but you should be prepared to study a good 8-12 hours a week going forward. If you would like information about my Fall (or Spring) study group, feel free to reach out to me in PM. You could still join, but just as an fyi, you would have a fair amount of reading to do to catch up. It's very doable, but it just requires commitment and time management to achieve. Good luck!

Sitting for the FALL 2022 CAP Exam 5 J. Morgan Way back in 1997, when I first pursued what was then the Certified Professional Secretary exam, I had a study buddy who was a woman in her 50s with teenage daughters. That desire to show her girls that learning truly was lifelong and that they should constantly strive to stay current and improve themselves was her driving force and it really motivated her to continue when it got tough. You can definitely do this and I know you will be modeling awesome skills for your child!

CAP Exam Fall 2022 6 A. Coleman I love your reason for taking the exam. As you know from my study group, my goal is actually to help everyone become the best administrative professional they can be, and if they pass the exam, that is just the cherry on top! It's so important to stay focused on the long term "why" of what we are pursuing!
